Really enjoyed the food and friendly, cheerful service. Special shouts to our waiter, Maisie and the supervisor Caitlin. I would also compliment the chef by name but I don’t know it! My naked cauliflower burrito was scrumptious.
The enchilada with crispy cauliflower filling was 5* Squash burrito with mild sauce (or have it as enchilada as it's absolutely superb). Fries and chipotle mayo - you get a large amount Guac and chips - 4* (would love more guac in the pot) Mocktail version of Zombie very refreshing Tajcitos .
Been here a couple times now and it's been amazing each time. The servers are very attentive, friendly and helpful, and the food is hands down the best Mexican food you can get this side of the Atlantic. Great work from all involved and hope it continues this way!
We were fans of the takeaway version and now love the restaurant, so happy it’s in Alton! Normally frozen cocktails can be quite watery, but these were really boozy and tasty! The offer of two for £14 is really reasonable too. We decided to have something completely different to the tacos and burritos we had before so had the pork in a Kaiser roll and the chicken Adobo. Both of which were really tasty, even the accompaniments of rice, chips and coleslaw. Couldn’t resist dessert - nice that the churros come with something different to the ubiquitous chocolate sauce (here white chocolate and dulce de leche). The corn panna cotta and ice cream combination was out of this world: so unusual to have corn/sweetcorn in a dessert but worked so well. All the staff were super friendly and the service was prompt and efficient. Can’t wait to come back!
